This app has everything you need, extremely easy to setup and use. Im very happy with it. Looking forward to a summer with beautiful grass :)

Recently replaced my Rainbird ESP-me controller with the Rachio. Amazing device and intuitive setup. Truly a set it and forget it sprinkler system.

Awesome!! Device setup was seamless and quick. App is ultra responsive with zones starting within a second of activation. Scheduling is as simple as letting the app do it for you but it allows for complex schedule designs if you would like to. App and device are excellent. Thank you!

Works as expected as long as no manual override is introduced. But when "rain skip" is added manually, due to occasional rain, it always skips (with message "based on soil conditions") and never waters again. Does not consider heavy rain more than 24 hours ago or expected heavy rain later than 24 hours in future. Basically no better than hunter pro-c with weather station sensor.. except allows to control using app.

Ive had this Rachio Iro for over a year now and love it. I do wish there was a drip irrigation option because my front flowers had to be manually tweaked but I think I finally got it. I love the pretty emails notifying me of changes to my personal systems schedule and I look forward to future enhancements. There is absolutely no way anyone can rate less than 4 stars, send it back for replacement if so!

Very simple to set up, flexible features without being complicated, exactly what I was looking for while being less expensive than a traditional controller.

This product and app just keep getting better and better. The ability to set different watering times for whatever day is great. That, coupled with automated watering delays when Mother Nature is already providing the moisture - Fantastic! (Ive always found it somewhat wasteful to see sprinklers running during a downpour). Finally - and very important since I do the work and adjustment on my system - the ability to pull out my iPhone and turn a zone on or off whenever I want saves me a ton of time and walking/running. I really love this system.

Rachio returns their Flex scheduling to this version of the app and restores their irrigation product to its rightful position as the best on the market. Between the Rachio Iro Gen 2 irrigation controller and this app you get total control of your landscape watering. By simply entering details about your landscape: the type of grass, plants, soil, and sun/shade (and many more details if you know them or what to get detailed) and then picking a nearby local weather station for data the Rachio does the rest... customizing a unique and ever changing water schedule zone by zone based on your unique landscape and your actual and forecasted weather. Its amazing and it pays for itself before the end of your first season. Rachio is fantastic and getting better everyday its one of the best products I have as I expand my "smarthome."

I also have a Weathermatic SL4800 controller and the Smartlink app from Weathermatic and I like my Rachio MUCH better. Rachio gives me a much better interface/app features. And Im tired of the unreliable signal issues with my Weathermatic.

I have been very pleased with my Gen 1 Rachio! Its easy to setup, easy to use and reliable. The old timers are hard to set and confusing. This makes it a breeze to water your lawn and its a smart timer so it saves you money and water. Win win. Thanks Rachio!

I have been enjoying using the system for a couple years now without issue. Easy and clever hardware setup. Would be nice if there was an iPad specific version. 5 stars anyway!

I have been using The Rachio hardware for 2 years now. The device, scheduling, and operation are fantastic but the app is terrible. I wish it was more similar to the app they started with. It is way too cluttered. I need to water my lawn, thats pretty much all I need to see on the app front and center.

I have not been able to water my yard since this update. There has been no digging or others matters that would impact my sprinklers. Would have rated this app 5 stars before this issue. Very frustrating.

This app is well thought out, I think it is outstanding! A world of difference from earlier controllers I have had. Costly but when you can get up to $100.00 in repeats, it is well worth the cost to get great control over your sprinkler system! BM

The app really needs to be overhauled. Not intuitive. It still has a bug thats been there for at the 9 months Ive had it. If you manually run a zone and then go back to run again it will jump to either all zones or some other random one. Dont bother fixing it though. Start over with the app. Still better than the 2 Sky Drops I tried which didnt work.

I just got the hardware today (check for local rebates - I got $100 from my town) and hooked it up lickity-split. Syncing with my Nest required Firefox (only complaint, but easy work around) and tomorrow I call my homeowners insurance and see what theyll take off. They took off $200 when I got my Nest Protect, and with Rachio synced to my Nest, if the fire alarm goes off, my sprinklers start cycling to dampen the spread of fire (or burnt toast). So whats so cool about this app? I can take a picture of each of my zones, name them, set different times for scheduled and manual watering, and its so simple. Do I need to do all the renaming and whatnot? No. But when I hand my phone to my daughter and ask her to water the garden, theres no confusion. I like that! Ill be adding sensors later for the soil, so eventually I can just enjoy my yard and garden and never worry about watering it!

Ive had the system for a few weeks now, it works like a charm and the app is very intuitive! But sometimes when Im running a Manual Run, it wont let me end it. I force close the app, try switching between cellular and Wifi, but nothing works. I just have to wait until the Manual Run finishes and I have no ability to stop it early. Major pain

As a practicing control freak, this system does everything and more for our landscape. Add a good surveillance camera network and you can watch it happen. How neurotically awesome is that?!?

The system used to be good, but now it only works about 50% of the time. I have had it for over a year and switched to the Gen 2 system. Its terrible.

Setup was easy just make sure you plug your common wire (mine was black) into one of the "C" ports and then youre done. Im going to use the watering schedule that the app suggests based on using my local weather station, so well see how that works. Love the convenience and control it offers. I didnt have a rain sensor on our sprinkler system so not having so the sprinklers going when it rains is big.
