Ever since the recent update the app continues to crash when checking the watering schedule..

I purchased a Rachio (1st generation) about 1 1/2 years ago and liked the concept so much that I bought one for my elderly mother. The longer I have it the better it gets - I am not one who writes about products but was motivated to speak out about my experience with Rachio. Thank you for developing a very useful tool saving our water resources (and my water bill). I am one of your biggest fan encourage my neighbors and friends to buy your product. I live in the City of Thornton of which the total purchase $$ amount was refunded thru my water bill - a double blessing. Again, thank you!!

We had an issue where our sprinkler control system is not easily accessible. And we have 10 sprinkler stations with heads that break often and need to be replaced. So running back and forth across and acre of property to test heads with a hard to reach system was a pain in the...We purchased the Rachio Gen2 16 station and absolutely love it. It makes changing times and testing stations a breeze. Setup on the app couldnt have been any easier! Love this product.

I have had the controller (16 stations) in and running for several weeks now. It works great and does everything I have asked of it seamlessly. My controller is located in an area with a weak wi-do signal. But the controller immediately grabbed the signal and has not dropped since initial installation. All of that plus a $120 rebate from my water company made this a great move for me.

We havent had any rain here in three days yet today and yesterday I had a skip notification because of rain and it said there was over an inch of rain in the past 24 hours and there was absolutely zero. I have the nearest weather station 2.4 miles from my house correctly set. On a brutally hot day today if I didnt spot the notifications and manually run my zones my grass wouldve burnt up over the past two days. I totally turned off all of the weather intelligence and rain skips I have no confidence in it. This is totally not acceptable and is not supposed to destroy my lawn.

Someone at Rachio was definitely thinking. The improvements that they made to this app are great. Very user friendly, but it also has an advanced side to really customize your irrigation. Hands down, this is the best irrigation app and system out there. You wi not be disappointed.

Fix it, please.

Installed and thought flex schedules were pretty smart then Rachio eliminated it claiming to have combined the intelligence in fixed schedule. I dont see the integration- before watering time constantly updated based on precipitation and evaporation but now feels much more rigid. Updating times once a month for seasonality. Bring the smart back in the smart device.

Love the whole system but as of the last couple of weeks the app consistently freezes and have to delete and re download. Also it would be nice to set a time and then select 5/10 sprinklers al to use that time when running manual instead of having to set each one separately.

Today, it was supposed to rain. So, I put the system on standby. Two hours later, I got a notification that the watering started and then ended according to the schedule. But it was supposed to be off!!! What is going on?!? Worst update since I purchased the system in May 2015!!! Please fix ASAP.

I love the idea of this product but two major problems. 1. It still watered my grass even though it rained a bunch. 2. The app doesnt start have the time!

The system is entirely reliant on the app, but it often will not load and then when it does, it usually freezes. Its a waste of $250 until they fix it. It would be nice if they would give it an option to use GPH inputs, but so far, this popular request has been ignored.

This is what it currently takes to run a zone: Select remote Change all zones to zone 1 Select duration Select start I want a page where I can quickly activate each zone with a single press

All I can say is AWESOME! Had my irrigation guy install - no problems switching out old manual box - wi-fi the Apple 5P handled the synch without a problem - sounds crazy but your phone has to be touching the box so if it fails to synch - you are too far and need to get the phone right on the box to get the result needed. Programming - the app is very easy to navigate and figure out. The neighbor kids came over and went bizurk watching zones come on using the phone! Re-adjusting all zones and installing box the guys were done in two hours. Highly recommend this system!!!

Love the controller, but this app needs some work. Even creating a username doesnt match up to what the instructions say.

This update is visually fantastic. I think things are easier to find once you figure out the new layout. Ive recommended this product to all of my friends and several have purchased. Keep up the good work!

I cant believe how complicated you have made this app. You took a perfect app and made it to complicated to use. Way too much information. Please bring back the old simple interface!!!

I just started using The Rachio Iro in a 13-zone setting a few weeks ago and have been using it often with new sod. I love the UI updates. To have this much thought go into a release shows that the folks at Rachio HQ are really working hard. Nice work!

I love this technology and the latest update has a great interface. Ive been in the landscape business for 25 years and appreciate the simplicity and functionality. I would recommend a larger box for the 16 zone clock to allow for the wire bundle. I would also love to see larger capacity options for commercial use. Hopefully you have that in the works! Great job guys.

The old app was great but this update is even better. Congrats to the team (especially the UX folks). Really easy to use and see what is going on with my Rachio system.
